New camera rig for a Caedan music video. 9v DC motor, momentary switch and a load of acrylic pain.
This is the first prototype of the WiiDraw program. A Wiimote takes IR data from an IR LED which is networked via OSC to a processing sketch that translates the movements into continuous lines. An Android Mobile app is used to select brush sizes and A/B colours, the ‘A’ colour is the initial display, the ‘B’ is the triggered secondary display, the app works wirelessly over the common network. Using Ableton Live for its MIDI capabilities a synced MIDI linear drum pattern is sent to the processing program which is used as a trigger to select either A/B displays.
Still in early development but with the intention to be used for live installation (by people who can draw)
